The Points System

I've recently added a points system to the forum. The purpose of points is basically to rate a member based on how active they are, things that they've done - stuff like that. You start out with 0 points. Here are ways you can earn points:

- Become an Elite Member (10 points).
- Become a Moderator (5 points).
- Get someone to join the forum (5 points).
- Be an active member of the forum for at least 3 months (3 points - This can only be done once).
- Be the author of a story that has earned the Editor's Choice award (2 points - Adminisrators are not eligible for this).

I will add more later. Here are some ways to lose points:

- Severely insult someone (-5 points).
- Spam (-1 point).
- Break any other forum rule (-4 points).

I hope this will encourage you to stay active, invite new members, and keep the forum clean!

Sweet! I'm going to earn several points! I'll have more than the mods! Don't you think that they're a little hard to earn though? I mean, there are 200 points to be earned in all, and for becoming a mod, you only get 5 points!

I just realized that OliviaofBolivia didn't get points for recomending me. Well, she was the one who told me about this site, and that why I joined. I said so it "why do you want to join." Otherwise, I would have no idea that it existsed. So yeah, she recomended me to this site, and I think she should get her points, if that is possible. Thank you.
