New Forums Sticky

This sticky is dedicated to the folks who have created a forum of their own, seeing as so many new forums have popped up left and right. So you can advertise your new creation in this sticky. That way, it's much much more organized.

Here is what you can put as a template for advertising your forum. It's your choise if you want to do it this way or not, or just make up a paragraph about your foum. Doesn't matter.

Forum Name/Logo- Well, people want to know the name of your forum, correct? I thought so.

Motto- People might want to know the motto of the forum.

Forum URL- This way, the person who wants to check it out has a quick and easy way to get there, instead of just haveing to find it and all.

Creater of Forum- Don't you want to be reconized for your art? This is just like signing your signature on a painting.

Date Created- This way, the people can tell how young/old the forum is.

Section in Forumotion- The people might want to know the section the forum is found under at Forumotion.

Purpose- I would assume that the people would want to know why they would consider to join.

Extra Information- Whatever else you would want to put in. Try and butter 'em up too.

Creater of Forum- /grins- Blizzy and I are basically the original founders, although we have a group called "The Original Four", which consists of Holleh, Blazeh, Blizz, and myself. It used to include Clear, but as she left and then came back, she's no longer included.

Date Created- 01/15/2009 --x We had a different guild before this one, created sometime in November.

Section in Forumotion- xPP It's not on Forumotion.

Purpose- As we are a Warriors roleplay guild, you can assume that Warriors roleplay is what we do. xDD

Extra Information- My guild is De Vrije Kant, otherwise known as "V.K" for short. Our guild name, meaning "The Free Side", is Dutch-- And with that being said, none of our members actually speak Dutch, although Blizz and I have tried to learn.

Er.. I went somewhat off-topic. xD Anyways, V.K is a literate+ roleplay guild, loosely based off the series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter.

Please note I said "loosely", meaning we do stray away from the books quite a bit. C: By doing this, we are able to think up our own traditions, beliefs, and the like. We also have a slightly different way of naming our warriors. Blazeh's Charries-- Runningfox and Spiderbite-- are two good examples, as is Blizz's charrie-- Brazenpaw. Although some of us may choose to name our cats in that fashion, you do not have to. Traditional names are perfectly fine, too. ^^

As for our plot, I haven't seen anything like it so far. Well, maybe. I'm not quite sure. xD Anyways, it's somewhat hard to explain, so I'll let our webbie (Made by me. 8D ) explain for me. ^^

Our guild isn't too big, and it isn't too small. In my opinion, we're just right. O: We currently have six residential members, who have no plans of leaving V.K right now. We're looking to expand our guild, though, as we need some spots filled still, even after we've been up and running for almost a month now. xD

Hrm.. I think I've covered everything by now. And if I haven't covered it, oh well. xP I'm too lazy to think over everything I should have covered.

This forum was created yesterday by Starr. With that being said, please note that it took combined efforts from a group of friends to actually make this happen. Holleh and Starr came up with the idea for ILL when they were doing a "chatplay interview" with their characters. Starr said she'd like a one on one, and Holleh offered. They then came up with an idea to make a forum to have a large roleplay go on. Kind of like a one on one. But, y'know, with more people. More people.. sounds fun. Amazing even. x3 It took all of us to create ILL, even if some don't feel like they helped very much. Il Lato Libero, countrary to belief, is not Spanish. It is Italian. What for? Why, "The Free Side"! And why not? We're moving away from the horrible restrictions of neopets onto a bigger, better place. So why not called ourselves the free side? It sure fits.
So yes, we're roleplayers running from neopets. Just ignore the neopets part and concrentrate on the roleplay-- As not all of us are from neopets. So yeah, we're a roleplaying site. x3 We're going to be a very fun one at that. We're working on getting a plot right now, so we're in the proccess of brainstorming. Fun, no? Yes. We have many brilliant minds at ILL, so it's sure to be a snap. x3 As it is, we're going to start the roleplay soon. Yes, before we have a plot. That's nothing bad, roleplays go on with plots all the time. ^-^; Anyways, join ILL today or you'll be SICK!
