Here are the rules for the ShoutBox.
I just want to point out to everyone, that everything is recorded. There are logs of the messages kept long after they disappear from the shoutbox itself.
So, if you see someone abusing, and want to report it, all you have to do is post in this thread, stating the date and time (Posted next to every message) that the abuse occurred.
So that everyone knows, abuse on the shoutbox will result in you being banned from both the shoutbox, and the forum. This way, the shoutbox should stay nice and clean, and fun for us all to use.
If you think someone else has been impersonating you, once again, simply post here with the date and time. I will compare IPs, and they will be sorted out.
The Shoutbox Warning System
At the first sign of abuse, the offender would be issued a [verbal] first warning.
If the person repeats the abusive action and commits a second offence, s/he would be banned from the shoutbox for half an hour.
A third and final offence would result to a permanent shoutbox ban.
Please be reminded that everyone has the right to speak up and report abusive/bothersome actions on this thread. Feel free to post them here, or PM any one of the shoutbox moderators members.
Let's all remember to keep the shoutbox a fun and friendly place to chat!
